PAPERWEIGHTS: Wint Harris creates a variety of enclosed environments in which the viewer can imagine they are running through the tall grass with the strong Kansas wind blowing through your hair and feel the grass slapping you in the face. Or examining a strange prairie creature crawling out from under the rocks hiding the full view of what is it's full body, only giving a look at a small portion of it's size and shape. Like an under water seascape with it's inticing beauty hidden by the rocks and grasses, without the water. The paperweights range from $75.00 to $250.00 and are approximately 3 inches to 5 inches in size. More examples and prices are listed in the following pages.

Wint uses the molten
glass to sculpt with.

the molten glass for the

bowl on the right.
PRAIRIE FIRE VASES: The blue and pink vases on the left are molten blown forms with crystal legs formed by dipping into the molten glass and pulled and shaped. Then the form is cut and polished on the top and the vase stands on the sculpted legs. These Prairie Fire Vases are blown in all colors and stand approximately 8 to 12 inches and are around 4 inches in diameter. Only $275.00 each
CYLINDERS: Wint uses cylinder forms to display color combinations, used as a canvas to paint with molten colors.
The use of cylinders gives a large surface to display groupings of color layers to an idea or a picture created from molten glass colors.
